made it to iceland!
the volcano didn't ruin things at all!
the first time i've ever driven in a foreign country ends up being hwy 1 out of reykjavik into a brilliant snowy sunrise.
i cross the north american continental plate onto the european one at the site of perhaps the world's first parliment.
i inadvertantly start a sheep stampede.
i get a smelly mattress in the Vik hostel.
i climb on pieces of bridge destroyed by artic flooding.
i waterfall all over the place.
i eat snow and lick glaciers.
my week is good.
