let's say my shower faucette control rotates a complete 360 degrees. now, the knob set at any position of degrees 0 thru 179.6 brings forth boiling water. the knob set at any position of degrees from 181.2 thru 360 drops the temperature to glacial. this all means, that in order to have a comfortable shower, you have to finagle a jurassic era knobby to within about a 1.6 degree position range for medium warmth. this is a difficult feat, especially with second degree burns covering your already scalded body.
